What is it?

It is a specialty of dentistry that studies the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that in one way or another affect the gums, root cement and alveolar bone.

When is it necessary?

When you have the following symptoms:

Redness of the gums.

Chewing discomfort.
Irritated gums
Dental sensitivity to cold or heat.
Cosmetic alterations such as loss of gums between teeth, the feeling of long teeth, or exposure of tooth roots
